Home Visits

Doctor's bag

If someone is too ill or disabled to come to the surgery we will visit them at home. In many cases someone can be seen more quickly if they are brought to the surgery.  If you are telephoning for a visit please give some details of the illness to the receptionist so that we can plan the urgency of the visit.  It also helps if requests for visits can be made before 10am please

You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby.

RVS scheme

Housebound patients who are unable to attend the surgery because of transport problems can phone 01875 811011 to request transportation to the Practice via the RVS GP Transport Scheme.
